Where Do We Honeymoon??

Postby lovinlivin on Wed Mar 14, 2007 2:18 am

I am planning a late May honeymoon and would love to visit the Carribean! We love Mexico but have had enough of it. I am 25 and we definitely enjoy nightlife but want plenty of scuba/water activites to keep us busy during the day. Which island is the most tourist oriented with a young party vibe? Is there such a place?? :pirate2 I'm so excited and really appreciate any feedback!!!

You can go to Dominican Republic - Punta Cana in particular. The beaches are great, the resorts are very good and it is very tourist oriented area with lots of scuba diving.

I would like to suggest Bibione. It is a good tourist place in Venetian coast. I was there the last time and got all things to enjoy. You can find many hotels and restaurants. I stayed in a hotel called Hotel Bellevue. It provided me a very good service and I really enjoyed too my heart.
Hope you will like my opinion.

cheers! :)

Where Do We Honeymoon??

Postby John Yates on Mon Jul 07, 2008 10:36 am

If I were you I'd talk to Gill at Prestige Vacations, she's hot on honeymoons and high quality holidays, and has a couple of sites dedicated to it.

Good luck
John.

Romantic Honeymoon in St. Thomas at private villa

Postby susie2000 on Sat Sep 20, 2008 3:51 pm

My best girlfriend got married in May 2008 and I had offered to do the preliminary travel research to help find a romantic wedding and honeymoon location . She wanted to have a beach wedding and honeymoon in the Caribbean and she finally (after weeks of my research) decided on renting a private luxury villa called Sand Dollar Estate in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Sand Dollar Estate is the only private St. Thomas villa rental that has its own private beach. The villa arranged everything including the reception at the villa and the wedding party accommodation (the villa was huge and 20 people stayed there in much nicer settings than any hotel). I was one of the lucky guests staying at the villa for the wedding and reception and it turned out to be the most fabulous setting ever.

My girlfriend and her new husband, stayed in the villa's honeymoon cottage which was a separate adorable building close to the villa's private sandy beach.

Here's a link for info on weddings and honeymoons in St. Thomas
