Victor's new hideout

Postby imsweets on Sun Mar 04, 2007 11:38 pm

This July, I am getting married in St. Thomas. I was supposed to be having my ceremony and reception at Coral World. However, they recently got a new caterer who is not honoring the previous caterers prices and is being extremely difficult. So now, 5 months before my wedding (expecting 50-60 guests), we have to find a new venue! A friend recommended Victor's New Hideout. I've read reviews about the food and it seems like everyone loves the food but I can't find any pictures. Victor assures me that it's a nice place for a wedding but I'm nervous.
Has anyone been there? If so, can you tell me a little about the ambiance, decor, etc.? Better yet, any pictures would really help!
Thanks!!!!

Victor's is a great place. If we wanted a lavish ballroom like something you see in a celebrity hotel or restaraunt it's not like that. However it is a great place for banquets, receptions etc. I have had the pleasure of going to Victor's throughout the years. Both of my parents have been honored there for there community service. These functions were atteded by senators and others in high office. They have great Caribbean food. The wait staff works hard for it's clients, and you can always catch a nice breeze up there. It is a local's favorite true and true. Congrats on the wedding. I hope you have an enjoyable day.
