Well, my husband and I (both 30) were THINKING of going to either Grand Lido Braco or Negril in December. I was going to make a post asking which one is better, or at least what the differences between the two is. Then I got to reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and neither of these properties is faring well at all. Is that true? Anyone been recently? Apparently management has changed and along w/ it the service and luxury. Please let me know. Can TripAdvisor be trusted? I know that opinions/reviews will vary greatly, but there is a large amount of unfavorable reviews for these resorts.

As an aside: can anyone recommend a great all-inclusive in Jamaica? We want luxury and relaxation...not Hedonism. Thanks!

I honestly can't say that we had a horrible time at the Grand Lido Braco. We were there in September and had the best time ever. We relaxed SO much and NO ONE bothered us. Anthony, Shantel, Shanique, Courtney, Allison were ALL amazing. They were there when and if we needed them to be. Nothing was overpowering.
The weather was perfect and remember - having a good time is what you make of it.
