What is the best way to get from the airport to the resort? Do we need to rent a car while on the Island? We are a party of four adults.

I am researching The Grand Caymanian for our 4th trip to Cayman and will be interested in how you like the resort. As for getting from the airport, after claiming your luggage will go outside to a pickup area where a person at a podium will take down your name, number in your party and destination. There are taxis coming and going constantly and he will set you up with one to take your entire party in one vehicle. They are usually minivans fitted with extra seats. All taxi services are owned by companies so there are no privately owned taxis. This eliminates you having to dicker for a good price or possible getting taken in on a bad price.
