My family of 6 has just returned to California from a fun-filled trip to St. John. We rented the wonderful, easy-to-access Rainbow Beach Villa near Coral Bay, attended a romantic wedding on the beach and snorkeled at Waterlemon Cay...surely one of the most amazing reefs available to us non-adventure travel types.

To help smooth our way to & from St. John via the St. Thomas airport, we reserved a private taxi from Freddie & the crew at Dynamic Tours.

Inbound we were greeted with the usual rum punch & a cheerful driver holding a sign with our name, who wisked us to the Red Hook ferry. Very smooth...worth every penny especially after a long journey with lots of kids.

On the way back, the island heat apparently caused us to leave our four largest checked bags sitting on the ferry dock in St. John as we blithely cruised back to St. Thomas without them. (Yes, we were confused by where/when you were supposed to leave your bags...liKe I said, the heat...)
