Just returned for our family stay there...VERY disappointed! The food reminded me of the Las Vegas $1.99 buffets!

Our room was inundated with ants, had torn wallpaper and an odd odor.

The Mangrove Cafe had the smell of rotting dead animals under the deck - every single person in our party (we were part of a wedding) complained and they looked at us like we were crazy!)

The pool was absolutely FREEZING - so much so that my KIDS didn't want to swim (and my kids never care about temperature...but it was THAT cold!) We paid the all inclusive rate, yet it was $10 to rent a stinking raft for the pool?

However...the drinks were yummy!!!

My husband and I were looking to book Sugar Bay (The Wyndam Hotel) for a week in November, and I came across your review. I was bummed to read it, but had a gut feeling that it all looked too good to be true. Any more feedback you can offer us? What about the food? Not so great, you say?
