Ya know there are so many beautiufl places to visit in Cancun, however, please be aware that the Royal Sunset is a royal Ripoff.
We stayed there last june 04 for one week, we were told we HAD to take there presentation tour, after many hrs and drinks we decieded to go ahead and purhcase their "Dream" ownership. The next day sitting at the pool we spoke to three total strangers who warned us against this resort and how hard it was to book a week etc, we decided to exercise our right to cancel and went to the mgr Mario Vega, he told us we GAVE UP our right to cancel(which by the way we found out is ILLEAGAL))) and if we told any one what they did, we would never leave Mexico alive!
After returning how we contacted our attorney and PROFECO and the Mexican embassy, After one full year of them working with us and going to court on our behalf, they cancelled the contract and refunded 1/2 of our deposit, we lost $3,000 thru this ordeal however i am happy to report i will never be going back to this Royal Rippoff again, Shame on them for trying to get over on Americans. Beware folks, they are trained on how to manipulate, intice and coerce Americans.
