I've been to Nassau a few times. A great hotel is either Atlantis is you don't mind a lot of people and action, or the British Colonial Hilton, which is more laid back, but close to the stores VERY inexpensive jewerly stores (if you compare to the prices of US/Canda since there is no tax in the Bahamas). Nearby the hotel there was a straw market where they sold many Carribbean specialties and also fake goods (i.e. designer watches, purses, sungalsses ...ETC) I was wondering if anyone knew of ANY place like this in Nevis, or in St. Kitts, because they is a ferry that takes you from Nevis to there. If anybody has any answers please answer me. I could answer all of your questions on Nassau and Atlantis. Thank you.
