My advice for anyone visiting this lovely Island on a cruise ship
would be not to take an tour organised by the Ship, but hire a taxi and do your own thing, making sure you go to Fort James for those magnificent views including your ship at anchor. Break of your tour for lunch and a few hours or so at the delightful Store Bay. Far more attractive IMO than Pigeon Point and not as busy. It cost us about $80 inc tip, and hopefully the local economy benefits more than $ spent with the cruise line.
