I am thinking of traveling to this area and am not how decimated it is from the recent hurricanes. Has anyone been recently, and if so is it worth traveling down there, or is a majority of the hotels, attractions, etc closed???

Playa del Carmen was fortunate to have less damage than Cancun and Cozumel. All services are up and running. The beaches are great and water is aqua blue!
