This will be our first trip to the Caribbean (we've done Mexico and are ready to try something new) and we are not sure which island would be best suited for us: 3 single gals in late 20s looking for gorgeous beaches for relaxing and some fun, maybe a fun bar and/or casino. We are looking to go in October and idealy we woud like an all-inclusive resort that may be adults only, but we don't want to be the only singles among a sea of couples. Any suggestions to point us in the right direction will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

How about Dominican Republic? Have you thought of that? You have a big choice of resorts there, Puerto Plata area, Punta Cana, you can visit Santa Domingo, the oldest city of the new world. This was the land that Columbus actually discovered, not the main land.
