I was there in October of 2007 with my the boyfriend and it was a wonderful place a place you would wish never to leave from again. We stayed there for 5 days and at the time I think the 5th night was free so it was a great deal also.

You will love it. Almost too many options unless you stay a while. Lots of nice sun and sand, pools, water sports, a ferry to their private island close by, so check out the website and view the hotel property in detail. Shopping in town is fun especially at the Straw Market where the cruise ships dock, there are old historic buildings, and of course lots of Casinos to visit. Save one day for a day pass at Atlantis and see the Aquarium. It is spectacular. The Atlantis marina is full of MegaYachts, so you may pass a celebrity or two in the crowd.

I haven't been to Sandals in the Bahamas but have been to Sandals in St. Lucia. It was fabulous. I was really impressed with the service and the resort.

The Sandals Resorts in the Carribean seem to be very popular. I plan to go to the Bahamas on my next holidays an so I am thinking about going to Sandals Resort. I am really looking forward to the trip and just want to enjoy life there, hang out on the beach and relax. Such resorts are definitely good choices for honeymoons.

I have stayed at Sandals in St. Lucia and really liked it. Not sure about the Bahamas but I had such a great experience with Sandals in St. Lucia I would definitely try another destination. I have stayed at Atlantis in the Bahamas which was great. Not sure if you have considered it.
