in 2001 when the resort was brand new my family, a friend and i went to the copacabana. everything was amazing, beautifal, extravagent. almost too perfect, therefore SOMETHING had to go wrong. several thousand dollars were stolen from the LOCKED safe in my parents room. the hotel offered no reimbursement and my father wasted and entire day of his vacation in a mexican police station where he was once again, offered no solution. after we left a few phone calls were made with the ONE cooperative man in the place, and we are aparantly ...just out of luck and some poor mexican had a ball with our vacation money. the hotel pays no reguard to "customer satisfaction"... we were offered nothing...
