Dear Friends,
My name is Tami and in 2000, my husband & I were blessed with the opportunity to come to your fabulous island and hotel. For me it was a dream come true. We even renewed our wedding vows there!!!!! The pictures we took and the people we met are still a part of our lives. I don't know if anyone reading this is interested in helping make dreams come true, but if possible, please read on. I am currently 36 years old and in late 2003, I was diagnosed with a degenerative brain and spinal cord disease. They did not think that I would survive, or improve past the point of living the remainder of my life in a nursing home. I am an only child, and during this same time, my father had a massive heartattack in which his chances looked slim also. My mother and my husband were our strength. My father pulled through wonderfully, but just a couple months ago was diagnosed with cancer. My disease has no cure, I was in a total paralysis for almost 1 year, but through alot of pain, hard work and endless encouragement I can now take care of my basic needs and have even learned to use a walker! I was blessed with a miricale that I will never take for granted.
My father and I are both living on borrowed time now, but you won't haer us complain. The purpose in this letter is to ask for help in fullfilling one more dream; the chance to return to your little peice of heaven with my husband and parents. I'm not complaining because God always takes care of us, but we do live month to month and I've been taught that nothing beats a tailure like a try, so if anyone can help, or would be willing to let us borrow your time share to have this one last visit to my dream spot and sgare the experience with my parents, you would forever be our Everyday Angel!
