Deciding between the two for my honeymoon...Can someone tell me about these hotels, differences, Which is better?

I have never stayed at the Royal Hideaway, but belong to the Palace Resorts system with a timeshare.

Aventura palace is great, no kids of course. Great food and night life. The nice thing about Palace resorts is that you can visit and eat at any of the other palace resorts.

I would go snorkeling at the xpu-ha palace one day (close by the Adventure Palace).

If you go to Cancun one day feel free to stop at any of the palace resorts to eat.

Its hard to go wrong with a Palace Resorts vacation.

The Adventura/Spa Palace Resort has no beach, small pools and lagoon, no palm trees and is stuck a 10 minutes from the Xpu-Ha Palace resort, which only has a so-so beach crowded with Palace guest from other Palace resorts (the Moon Palace has seaweed all over). The Royal Hideaway & Spa is 10 times better, very lush, located in the gated Playacar area, almost within walking distance of Playa del Carmen and has a shopping village in Playacar. There's no contest, the Royal Hideaway is a million times better, I've seen both resorts!
