Had read all reviews before departure. On arrival (March 2005)we thought the hotel was slightly disappointing but it grew on us daily and had a fantastically relaxed atmosphere. The staff (Carib bar in particular) were very friendly and extremely helpful and so are the reception staff. The rooms are perfectly OK and clean although the bathrooms could do with a little renovation. The beach is stunning and you couldn't ask for a calmer, more beautiful sea. I was disappointed that there was no kettle in the room but the momemnt I mentioned this to reception, they gave me one. We have no complaints whatsoever and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel is lovely and the island is beautiful. Would highly recommend.
