This is the first time we've gone to a clothing optional resort and we are little nervous. The beds hanging beside the pool look very romantic, but I'm worried that I will be trying to swim and relax while people are being "a little too romantic" next to me. I think it might make me uncomfortable. I have similar concerns about the Jacuzzi bar, ect..? Is their open sex or do people show some discretion?

By the way we were planning a trip to Desires.

If you are going to the Hidden Beach Resort, discretion is required. No open sex is allowed and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I don't know about Desire or Caribbean Reef. But, the HBR is the best without having to worry about others.

Hi, My wife and I went to Desire a year ago, our first clothing optional experience. We had a great time. Desire is a quiet relaxing resort, not any where near as busy/loud/party filled as a Hedonism Resort.
Guests try to be descrete, but don't be shocked if you or your wife see others ( usually late night on the beach) or are casually approached for a little descrete meeting with another male or female. My wife and I were there to be with each other and a few "thank yous but no" settled any thoughts if we were swingers. It was a very relaxing resort and have recomended it others. An open mind is key, also make reservations for the sit down dining, well worth it.
