My husband and I are going to the reef club in May 2003. Has anyone been there since the fire on March 3, 2003?

Can you form an opinion of the place now that they have had this set back?

What about the dining experience?

I'm 18 and i just got back from the reef club. The only difference in the place is that a big portion of the rooms are blocked off (beside the activity pool, and behind the restaurant)They seem to be getting a lot done in fixing the rooms though, so maybe they will have a few more open by the time you go. They have a new VIP restaurant, however, that is excellent. It is pretty much the same as the old one. You order your food, can order a dessert, etc. The weather down there is great, and we had a great time down there. Have you been there before?

WE ARE GOING IN LAST DAY OF MAY ALSO WITH OUR TWO TEEN GIRLS. I WANT THIS TO BE AN EXCELLENT TRIP BUT I FOUND OUT IT RAINS SO MUCH OF MAY AND JUNE. IS THE HOTEL NICE?

They still have not completed repairs and you only have the buffet(YUCK) or the specialty italian place. We were their last week and ate many meals outside of the hotel! I was really disappointed in the quality of food at the hotel, everything else was wonderful! STAY in the STUDIO, the regular rooms look TINY!!!
