Hello everyone,
I just wanted to inform you about Beaches Boscobel in Jamaica. I don't recommend this resort for you and your family because of this reason... I went there this October, for 10 days, along with my Wife, two kids and my mom. On the third day of our trip someone entered our room while we were at dinner between 7 pm to 9 pm and stole $206.00 from my Mom's pocketbook. We contacted security right away and reported the problem. My mom told them she wanted to have her money back. They stated to her "They would look into the situation and would keep her informed". After the trip was over she still had no answer from them, until she contacted them a week later. The response from them was "You left your property out and didn't put it in the safe, so we will not remburse you". But what I want to know is, my property is my property right? Who has the right to enter the room we are staying in for the week and fill their pockets with our stuff regardless if we use the safe or not. Everything we own is of some value to us, in one way or another. You can't fit everything into the safe. I think the resort should be responsible for who they give a key too and should give my mom her money back. If you agree with me, please let me know. Thank you and let your friends and family know about the problem we had so they don't run into the same problem. Take care!
