Please Help with Dive Data

Postby moonsong23 on Sat Apr 15, 2006 12:06 pm

Hi all, I'm a scuba diver who has been diving for about 17 years. I'm currently working on getting my MBA. For a class (quantitative methods) I have a project where I need to write a mathematical model for something I'm interested in and I chose scuba. THe teacher doesn't actually expect the model to work, because life is more complicated than a few variables, but he wants us to give it our best shot. I need data to help make my model, the more the better. What I'm looking for is the following: Sex, Weight (not including gear, your own weight), Max Depth of Dive, Length of Dive and PSI used during dive. For instance, this would be a valid data point for me:

Sex - F
Weight - 140
Max Depth - 60 feet
Length - 60 minutes
PSI used - 2500

If you have multiple dives, that would be great. Please send all dive data to mfeller23@yahoo.com and please write dive data in the subject line!

Thanks for all your help, Melanie
