My husband and I are visiting Playa Del Carmen the 1st week of August. We are booked! I've read reviews being up/down as far as the temp/humidity goes. I'm hoping it doesn't rain Can anyone provide feedback on the weather there, the 1st part of Aug. I don't care about the heat....I just don't want rain!

I was in Playa last year from July 21-Aug 21 and it rained a total of 3 times. Two of them were in the morning and it claered up by 12PM. Have fun. make sure you go to Gran Cenote and visit Playa Secreto'ss absolutly amazing beach!
