We recently went to Playa Blanca Villa in Ambergris Caye and there was a ton of constuction next door. Barges came almost every day to unload dump trucks and constrcution gear. We paid $595 a night for this villa and felt cheated. We asked 3 time in advance if there was any construction. The owners said "no". We think the owners mis-represented the property. It was terrible having hammering and sawing next door from 7am to 5:30pm. It was our worst vacation in 20 years.
