We are going to the Rui Palace in Playa for our honeymoon and we heard that we have to go the the Rui Tequilla because the night life there is great. These are all inclusive resorts. If you stay at the luxurious Rui Palace then you can go and eat and swim at any Rui resorts. If you stay at any of the others, I think the only resort that you cannot go to is the Palace. Rui Tequilla might be a good choice. It's relatively close to Playa (walking distance or short cab ride), offers scuba etc....

The finest all inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen is the Royal Hideaway.... fine dining, beautiful grounds and beach and there is a dive shop right on the beach. My wife and I have been there 3x and are planning a return trip in 7/06. check out there website same as hotel name, it was just rebuilt after Hurricane Wilma....

There are several there. Easy acess to the town of Playa and nice resorts. Also the Real Resorts, also in a good location.
