Hi everyone. My hubby and I travel once (sometimes twice) to warm places and I think St. John is our destination in 2007. Is there a time of year that is best?

For first timers, do you recommend staying at a resort or renting a villa? there seems to be alot of really nice privately owned homes to rent. Any suggestions on which ones (resort or villa) based on location and views?

I'm just beginning to learn about the island, but figured i'd get the input from some of the experts out there. Places that we can't miss? things that are must dos?
