Oasis Cancun

The treatment at the hotel is quite poor. Flight Centre was informed that the hotel is all inclusive however this is quite misleading. Upon arrival, the building that had been booked for us (Phase 1) was overbooked and we were moved to Phase 2. We were promised that because it is all the same hotel all facilities were still all inclusive. However, as the days passed use of the restaurants and bars at Phase 1 were not permitted with the all inclusive package. Staff would not inform us why this was but simply ignored our request to serve other guests. When we requested to be changed back to our original building (Phase 1) we were not given a straight answer and instead redirected between the two buildings to speak to different supervisors, most of which could not assist us, and in some cases chose not to.

We had arrived on Saturday and by Tuesday we brought the issue to our World of Vacations rep as no one else was able to assist us. He was quite helpful, however the changes he made with our rooms were not acknowledged by the hotel staff and again no progress was made.
When we requested that the supervisor for one building call the other building to see if our rooms were ready he refused, informing us that it was our responsibility to check. However when we made the attempt to do so ourselves we were told the information was confidential and could not be given to us.
Much time was wasted on an issue that I hoped would not be so complex. I understand that Spring Break is a busy time however to deny guests of facilities they paid for is misleading to the consumer. In addition staff seemed to disregard any young people with issues as children and not worth their time. In most cases when they did not have an answer they simply walked away. Apparently customer service no longer holds any meaning.
It is also misleading to Travel Agencies who are providing their customers with such information. In addition, hotels in Cancun must be based on a different rating system than here in Canada. I can't consider a hotel in which the tap water runs brown on occassion, the sliding door falls off of its track and features stated as being available are missing in the rooms such as a mini bar a highly rated hotel.

WELL!!!!

I stayed at the Oasis... and .. i hated it.. Horrible service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The employes didn't care about you at all. Example: I asked for a drink... he said... im talking wait! You don't do that! What I hated the most was even though I had the all inclusive.... we had to sign for EVERYTHING! That was just a waste of time.. then they sometimes messed up the room numbers!

Another thing.. they told us our room was ready.. we get the keys (they are actual keys.. not cards) and open the door.. beds arent made... beer bottles all over the place... shoes.. cloths.. they gave us the wrong room.. and overbooked.. they finally found us another room! The rooms were ok.. but the air isn't good!

It is a clean resort thats why I uped my 1.. to a 2! The back buildings didn't have elevators!Either

No entertainment by the pool... whats that?

Stay Somewhere else.. help close this place down!
