Hi, I am staying here in June and I am wanting to know if there is anything I should know about this resort? I Have never been to Cozumel before and I am hoping is it nicer than Cancun although Cancun was nice too. I also am wanting to know how far it is to get to Xel-ha from Cozumel? Any info would help. Thanks A Bunch!!

I have not stayed at the Melia so I will let others comment on that.

As far as getting to Xel-ha from Cozumel - you can take the ferry from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen. Then rent a car for the day or hire a taxi to take you to Xel-ha. There may also be shuttle service to and from Playa as well but I have never done that.
