I have always dreamed of a Jamaican honeymoon. Now that I am getting married, we're considering this as our honeymoon destination. Here's what we're looking for:
* An all inclusive resort that can occupy us a majority of our time there (we're looking at about a 5-6 day stay). Nothing too fancy and mega expensive (hoping around $100 a night or less if possible), but my fiance claims he does not want to "stay in a hut", he wants an actual room, LOL. It also has to be air conditioned or he'll get very uncomfortable due to what we've heard the humidity of the climate is like there.
* A place to relax without running around trying to look at 50,000 different attractions during our short stay there. We're mainly interested in taking in the scenery and relaxing on the beach and would rather be confined to only one part of the island so we're not rushed all the time.
Also, we're going in the middle of March, 2007 (around the 17th I think). I heard this was a good time to go as it is not during one of the rainy seasons. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, personal experiences both good and bad, I would appreciate hearing them. Thank you!
