My boyfriend and I are looking for a relaxing vacation. No nude vollyball or partner swapping. We were wondering if being adult only means that kind of vacation. If so we wouldnt want to go. Anybody know about this? Thanks

Hi. I just got back from Aventura Spa Palace. We went there for our Honeymoon & New Year's Eve. I did not see any nudes (although I hear it is optional), nor did we notice any wild parties. It is a beautiful place, I thoroughly enjoyed it, my husband didn't like the man-made beach, but I liked not worrying about sharks! The only disadvantage is that it is way out from anything else. We took a cab to Playa Del Carmen market area (about 20 min ride), definitely recommend. Xpa-Ha Resort is close and seemed to be a very quiet place, with lots of nature activities, but not as many bars.

I have been to the Aventura Spa and it nothing like what I have read about that takes place at “Hedonism”. I have heard it described more like “Noah’s Ark”. Everyone is paired up. It is definitely not a “pick up place”. There are some topless sunbathers and swimmers but nothing out of line. Average age of guests when I was there was 30 to 50. The wife and I had a good time and will be returning in spring.

Hedo is not a swinger resort nor is it a nudist resort. Been there 41 times and never saw the need to swing, but do go nude in the small area in the resort to be nude.

What makes Hedo is the pleasure of the people who go there.

No topless unless Im way older than I think - very laid back mostly quiet couples. Not a hint of hedonism, just a really nice place to kick back and relax.
