does anyone know of a good dive shop that will pick you up at the iberostar in cozumel?

My friend dives with them regularly and I just dove with them in May 2003. Decent boat with a great crew.

Practically all dive operators will pick you up from any resort. I used Blue Angel and was very happy with them.

Could someone answer a few questions that I have?

Do they serve you drinks while you are lounging on the beach?

Which is best, lower unit or upper?

Do you get to choose a room when you get there?

What types of gifts do the maids like to get, if you plan on taking some?

My kids love the white sand beach of Cancun. They go swimming in the ocean and never have to worry about wearing water socks or cutting their feet on sharp hard coral or rock. What is the beach like inside the water at the Iberostar in Cozumel? I can't tell from the photos I've seen. We might stay there.

The beaches in Cozumel are not as nice as they are in Cancun.

At the Iberostar in Cozumel the beach area is very nice...the sand light brown and a bit courser than in Cancun. Palm trees fringe the beach with chairs and tables.

In the water there are rocky areas or small rocks in the water...so water socks might be a good idea.

I really like the Iberostar, one of my favorites in Cozumel, but if your looking for that "fantastic" Caribbean beach, Cozumel in general is not the right place to go.
