For what we paid, the Windjammer Landing Resort provided us with perhaps the worst service we have ever experienced, and on our honeymoon nonetheless! The air conditioner was broken in our bedroom and even though we complained (nicely, at first) it remained broken for our entire stay. A compilation of other problems ensued and with each attempt at having our legitimate requests met, we in turn were met with the same indifference and lack of responsibility. Yes, the resort is beautiful, and the restaurant and houskeeping staff were pleasant to deal with, but upper management was mostly ineffective and largely unapproachable and lower management mostly "yessed" us to death. We do not usually go out of our way to complain or take the time to leave such messages as this one, but our honeymoon should have been romantic and relaxing and instead it revolved around incompetency and abominable handling of reasonable issues.
Sorry to say, Windjammer Landing is a classic example of why you should never judge a book by its cover.

I am very sorry that your honeymoon was not up to your expectations. I have been to Windjammer Landing many times and have always had a wonderful experience and plan to return again. Your experience was unfortunate and I can understand why you wrote your review.

To others out there, don't let this one experience from one person keep you from going to Windjammer Landing. It is a fabulous place with all kinds of wonderful amenities and spectacular villas.

its really bad if someone had bad honey moon experience , didn't they have customer care department ?
