Going to the RH June 6. I was wondering if there was any good snorkeling in front of the hotel off of the beach or do I have to travel to find the reefs?

I absolutely loved the Royal Hideaway. However, the only downside was the snorkeling. There is none off the beach at all. The snorkeling trip that the dive shop on the beach offers is no good at all. You are much better off walking down the beach, and finding another outfit that will take you a little further out. The reef that the Royal Hideaway dive shop takes you to is completely dead. The only fish that do show up are nothing too special...

However, I mentioned this in a previous post; if you are a diver, I highly recommend doing the cave dive that they offer, it was incredible...feel free to email if you have any other questions...
