Would like information on the dive shop and facilities at the Occidental. We would like to plan and prepay our dives prior to our trip.

We just got back from the Occidental "Grand" Cozumel. Grand is part of the name not the description, trust me. My husband and I wanted to learn this trip. However, no one seemed interested in talking to us. We did see divers standing along the beach waiting for boats and checking their watches. They have no dock and the boats just come up into the swim and snorkel area.
I did talk to some divers there who were upset because they couldn't get into any ala carte restuarants because the reservations were made each morning when they needed to be catching their boat.
They e-mailed me quickly also but when we got there they were too busy to talk to us.
