Hi all we are going to stay at the barcelo soly mar in may 14 for 2 weeks,anyone been there,if so whats it like,bit worried read lots reviews on this hotel we are english only have cancun all inclusive to compare to.looking for great beaches and night life,are we heading right place.be good to hear from anyone going same time.

Hi there. Congratulations on your upcoming trip in May. This resort does not have much night life, however it is only a 10-minute walk into town where there are clubs you can go to and they have dancing in the streets. Lots of bars, etc.

The resort itself if lovely and I am sure you will like it very much. We were there last April for our son's wedding and it was great. Stayed 2-weeks.

Thats true .. you are near the town which have a lot of night life .. so do not hesitate to go there.
