Does anyone have information on this resort, diving, rooms, food and the staff?

I am thinking about going there in mid-July and would appreciate any input from veteran travlers--if not I guess I will be the first to post in August.

Hi Ken, I have been to Belize about 5 times and Turneffe Flats is the best place I have stayed. I have been to other islands in the Turneffe Atoll, but no one has the solitude and guest services like Turneffe Flats. They take 16 guests per week and the food is excellent. They are the only ones to offer shore diving. The night snorkeling is nice and the fishing fantastic. Can you tell I like it? Have a great time!

I don't think this resort is so great! I stayed at Turneffe Island Lodge and had a much better time. They were a bit more exclusive and theur food was much better. I will return year after year.

If you are going to go to the Outer Atolls... Turneffe Island Lodge is a much better choice. Their accommodations are much nicer, food is better, and they just have a better Scuba Diving program. Even their website is better... www.turneffelodge.com.
