Back in the 80's and early 90's, my wife and I visited St. Martin several times a year. (I worked for Pan Am and flew for free ) I'm racking what's left of my brain to try to remember 2 names: 1) the hotel on Nettle Bay directly across the street from the Radisson; and, 2) there was a restaurant/bar up in the woods - nowhere near the water. I think it was in French Cul de sac, but may have been Dutch Cul de Sac. It was owned by a former Pan Am employee and had the best steaks on the island. Can anybody help???

Also, at that time, Mary's Boon had one sitting for dinner and no choice of entree. The owner was a toy-maker from New York and would join us for dinner each night. However, he would NEVER eat until all of his guests had had 2nds, 3rds, etc. The bar was self-serve honor system. Has all that gone away with "progress"?

We're looking forward to coming down for our 45th anniversary in July. Can't wait !!!!!
