Here's my picky list. Granted this is for HoneyMoon perfection, if this was just a random vacation(which i plan to take after), i wouldn't be so picky:
*Caribbean Vacation around or under $4k. (not Jamaica or Atiuga)
*Water must be warm, clear, and blue/turqiose.
*Beach must be powder white, with little to no sand bugs.
*Must not be too windy and avoid rainy season.
*Resort must be luxury, but not too expensive.
*Little to no kids, and small/exclusive resort, not crowded, but again not too expensive.
*Would prefer a swim up pool, but only if the pool is warm.
*prefer ocean view room
*Need activities. Sitting on the beach will be wonderful, but we can’t do it all day every day.
*All-Inclusive does not matter, only if it saves in total cost.
Some of what we've researched, please give me some of your Pros/Cons...
Caymans - 7mile beach looks amazing. I'm afraid to might be a little too busy. Caymans is also a little more expensive. Looked at several resorts, but was not overly impressed with any. But appears to have some fo the best activities(Stingray, snorkeling, etc)
DR/Punta Cana - Heard the white sand beach here is also amazing. Princess hotel suites have decent AI packages. I've heard safety is an issue though, might not want to leave your resort?
Turks&Caicos - Not sure much about here either. I've heard a few resorts have pretty busy beaches though. But i've heard they are amazing white powder sand beaches. Couple resorts looked pretty nice here though.
Honduras - Specifically The Barefoot resort looks really nice here, beach looks great. Haven't looked at much else.
Anguila - Been told is really good too, but I had a hard time finding anything. Many pictures looked like reefy beaches, or really expensive exclusive places. Hear it is one of the more pricey islands.
Please let me know anything and everything you can. We are going to research as much as we can, and get some ideas before going to see a Travel Agent. Thanks!
