Anyone who can help me, I would appreciate it. Yes, the Allegro Playacar is to open on January 31st, but will the beach reclaimation be completed by then? From what I understand, this area has no beach now due to Emily and Wilma, but there are plans to rebuild the beach. I've called Occidental resorts, and of course I spoke to a travel specialist who could only say that the resort will be operational at the end of January - she had no clue re: the condition of the beach. I was provided the resort's phone #, and nobody answers. Yes, I could go someplace else, but this place is special, a few years back it was the site of a marriage proposal, so on the way back from Xcalak and Tulum, I wanted to surprise my lady by staying here a few nights. I am looking at the end of February. Thanks
