My male friend is encouraging me to go topless while staying at the El Dorado Royale in March. Is topless sunbathing acceptable at this resort? Others, please tell me about your experiences at this resort or similar resorts in Mexico. This will be my first Mexican vacation.

Well when we were there last year there was no meation of it being allowed. While noone in the group saw anyone topless there is a long beach in while a few spots that you could have some privacy. The place is quite large and I found it quite peaceful .

Topless is allowed at the Royal and the Seaside. I was shy at first and fearful of onlookers but quickly grew out of that. Hope this eases your mind. Have a great trip.
