We're at the El Dorado Royale and thinking of spending a day at Hidden Beach. What are our transportation options and costs?

There are plenty of transportation options.

I would recommend renting a car for the day and explore the area as well. Barring that just take a taxi. They are reletively inexpensive and they are plentiful.

Also, the resort may "shuttle" you to where you want to go as well.

I would expect one way costs to be "around" the $20-$25 range.

As a point of reference a taxi from the Cancun airport to the most of the hotels in Playa del Carmen is around $55.

The future wife and I are gooing to EDR and am interested in anyone else that has gone over to Hidden Beach for a day trip. Price, process ect.
