I arrived at Kamay Villa which i booked 6 months in advance. When i arrived to the villa, there was no water, no air conditioning, the house was filled with bugs. The bathrooms, the beds, and the fridge were full of dead insects. The lights on the 2nd floor werent working. When i tried to contact Anneke, she hung the phone up on me constantly. On christmas eve, i had to search for a hotel room to stay in. I have many pics of the home, and I am just warning everyone out there who is thinking of booking a villa to stay away from Anneke...Please contact me with any questions. I will be happy to help.

I was very upset to hear the review about Anneke Gorter in a previous posting. I am planning a wedding in Aruba in october of this year. Anneke has been very helpful in answering any questions I may have, always getting back to me via email within 24 hours.

I am renting Aruba 500 and was wondering if anyone has stayed there and can give me some information as to their experiences there.

If anyone else has had these same experiences with Anneke or the Aruba Rental Services, please let me know

I was sad to see a bad review on Anneke Gorter.
I have been renting villas with Anneke for four years now, and I would never rent with anyone else! We stayed in Aruba 500 the last time we were there, and it was a delight! Anneke is always there for you when you need her, very friendly and helpful. So I suggest for you to enjoy your wedding, and I can definitely say that from my experience, Anneke is anything but a fraud!

get your facts straight, this house is not managed by, operated by or has any sort of affiliation to The Malmok Management Company whatsoever.

I too have rented a villa from Anneke for September 2007, she has been very helpful with the many emailed questions I have asked, so this post worries me. This house looks very nice to me and I find it very hard to believe that it was infested with bugs inside. We will be staying in the Kamay section of the Noord district and any helpful information on this area would be much appreciated. I can't find much info online about the villa or the area. Thanks so much

Kamay Villa is a beautiful property in Aruba. We use to stay at other locations in Aruba, but now return to this property. We have rented homes in various vacation spots in the U.S. and have never been as impressed as we were by the decor, views and luxury of this home! Although Anneke Gorter is no longer the manager of this property, we have never had any problems with her. We rented this home through Misha and Rik. They were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. We look forward to returning and even recommended the home to our friends who have also enjoyed their stays. I wanted to report that my stay at Aruba500 in Oct 07 was by far one of the best trips I have ever made. The house exceeded my expectations.
Anneke does not manage that property- nor did she at the time of the reported incident above.
I was married in Aruba in October and we rented 2 different villas through Anneke. I have never found anyone more helpful and kind. She went out of her way to accomodate myself and the 30 guests we had in Aruba. And saying her name around the island - you will hear nothing but praise for her.
I recommend her services highly.
