My husband and I will be vacationing at this Iberostar in a couple of weeks. Just wondering if any block of rooms are better than others, etc. We've been to the Iberostar Quetzel and Punta Cuna. Also, what excursions do you feel are worthwhile. Thanks for info.

We enjoyed the Beach. It is part of a complex of several Iberostar resorts. The rather elongated pool is great. The beach is okay. The extent of the beach is limited if you are interested in walking along the shoreline. The beach area is somewhat divided by a pier which extends into the ocean. I enjoy going topless and found that most of the topless bathing is located to the left of the pier. Virtually no one walks the beach topless. The food is quite good. Virtually all of the rooms are satisfactory. One problem with most rooms relates to the outside patios. During the night, noise from those using adjoinging patios is quite noticeable to the interiors of surrounding rooms. Oh well. Try and secure a room on the top floor of a complex. Such rooms offer more privacy, you can virtually sunbath in the nude, and the vistas are great. Enjoy!
