Hello Friends,
My name is Tami and I had the privilege to visit your piece of paradise, and even renew my wedding vows, in 2001. It was a dream come true! We met some of the most wonderful people there that still remain a part of us. A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with a degenerative brain and spinal cord disease. I was in full paralysis for over a year and expected to die, or be placed in a nursing home until my final days. I was 34 years old. I refused to give up and worked diligently in physical therapy, I also received a miracle! I can now walk with the assistance of a walker and although I know my time is limited, I love life and am constantly thankful for the life I have. During the same time I was dying in the hospital, my father had a massive heart attack and almost lost his life also. My mother was devestated... we're all she has. My father now has cancer which is spread throughout his body, so he too isliving on borrowed time. None the less my father, mother, myself and my husband appreciate and have a zest for life.
I am writing to ask if anyone may be interested in making a dream come true. There is nothing more I'd rather do than return to La Plage, St. Maarten one last time and bring my parents. My husband and I would love to re-experience the magic we felt there and share it with my mom and dad while we have the opportunity. I would never complain about our situation, but because of medical bills and my inability to work, there is no way that the 4 of us could pay for this vacation. We live month to month. I was praying that someone might be willing to allow us to stay at their timeshare or personal unit. I would love to re-live the experience one last time before I lost use of my body again and my daddy.
Sincerely,
Tani1b@aol.com
I laso want to show my love and extreme grtefulness to my husband and family for being my arms, my legs and my mind when I could not. There are no words to express the depths of my love.
