Flying into Provo.

Postby Shelley on Sat Feb 12, 2005 12:05 pm

I hope I can get some answers on flying into Turks and Caicos. I am noticing that there aren't a lot of recent posts on this forum. Well, I will give it a shot! We are planning to go to Beaches resort in Turks and Caicos Dec. 1st-8th. I have been checking flight information and I can't believe how expensive it is to get into there. I checked the flights a few months back by plugging in dates just to see what it would be a couple months out. I was planning on waiting to purchase our tickets a couple months before the trip. Well, I am finding that there aren't that many flights available this far in advance and it seems they are already filling up. It has given me some anxiety, thinking that we may not get into Turks on the dates that we would like...I also can't believe the difference in price. The flights that I found a couple months ago were around $560 leaving out of Seattle. Now they are around $1000. I was wondering what your experience was with flying into Turks and what I should concider reasonable for an airline ticket? Any help would be greatly appreciated! ~Shelley

Hi Shelley...
I just returned a few weeks ago and went during what was also considered "high" season and paid $416. I think the closer you get, the more likely you'll be to see prices drop. I'm heading back in Aug., which is no man's land in Provo and tickets now are in the $800s...this summer, they'll drop into the $300s. Good luck and have fun! S
