I have been living in Playa del Carmen for the last three years and I know the Fisherman's Village. It is a nice hotel, not too full of people and with one of the nicest beaches of Playacar. There are not a lot of activities on the beach or at the pool and in the night you do not have the shows as in the big all inclusive but I would rather stay there than in other hotels.
It is a really nice hotel relaxing and with a beautiful beach so that you may enjoy for sure your hoenymoon. You may horse ride, junglecross and scuba dive with other organisations. As for windsurfing and sailing I doubut since all this area has all inclusive hotels and they are not happy to have guests from others hotels using their facilities.
