I have a few questions about El Dorado Royale I hope someone can help me with.

Is the water crystal clear like other Caribbean beaches, with decent snorkeling?

How far is Xel-ha from the resort. I'm hearing people say they spent $80 each for excursions. Wouldn't it be better to just rent a car?

How to you get to the resort from the airport? Is there a cost?

We are trading in via a timeshare. They are charging us $87 per day, per person for food. Is this total or are there a bunch of resort taxes added on to that.
