My husband and I and some friends are staying at the EDR in September 2004. I have read that the resort has had a few bad reviews, but has also had some good ones. What can we expect?

el dorado royale has great service if you tip, good if you dont, follow the meal times they had no other food once the resturaunt was closed, dont leave any values in the room safes, I left a keepsake gold chain and italian horn in the safe and my wife left money, the chain and horn were gone, about 80 dollars of the cash was gone. otherwise had a great trip.

Go somewhere else! It was a huge disappointment. We were there in 2002 and would never go back to this place. We go to Mexico every year and this is the worst we have experienced. Food awful, service bad. Nothing good to say, frankly. For the same money & less you can find much better.
