Any hints on dress code at El Dorado Royale?

Dress code for most upscale resorts in the Riviera Maya is casual dress. I stayed the the Rui Palace and wore sun dresses or casual dress pants to dinner. My husband wore casual dress pants and a short sleeved shirt. Daytime anything goes...shorts, tee shirts ect.

Dress is more smart casual. There were shorts in the dinning resturants but not cuts offs or tank tops.

Make sure you make reservations for restaurants when you arrive.

Don't bother to pack shoes, you can go barefoot almost all the time day and night!!! The only restaurant I felt inclined to wear a dress (casual that is) was to the Mexican restaurant as it was an indoor restaurant. The steak restaurant, oriental restaurant, beach snack bar and La Isla are all "open air". Have fun
