Club Orient

Have anybody been to Club Orient at Saint Martin?
This was our first ever nudist vacation over ten years ago.
Then we got heavilly involved with Eden Bay in Dominican Republic, so we never came back since.
We are thinking of going there again and would like to hear opinions from people who visited Club Orient recently.

Club Orient

Besides the fun of skinny dipping and enjoying an all over tan, Club Orient is located on a mile long beach of French restaurants, beach bars, shopping, and there are several grocery store options in the mix. There is even a French hairstylist and news stand near the Village d'Orient. Check out the website http://www.OrientBeach.com

Club Orient

Hi there,

We stayed at Club orient just a few weeks ago... we love being able to walk out of our room naked, right to the beach which is just there on your doorstep. So for being able to experience that freedom it is great... however, the room we had was not great, a bit like a mountain cabin, quite basic and unwelcoming. The rooms are all privately owned and therefore apparently some are better than others (done up nicely, better decorated, better furniture...). So you need to find out which ones are best and try and ask for one of them on reservation.
The other things is that we are both 31 and often the crowd of people that are at CO are in their 40s or above... we don't care, everyone is welcoming and friendly, but that might make some people hesitate if they're looking for a young partying crowd... dunno.

St Martin is great... we adore it. We have found this guide really helpful in making the most of the island: http//:www-st-martin-maarten.com

Enjoy!

My wife and I have been to Orient Beach many times since 2006. Our most recent trips were June 2009 and Oct 2009. Yes, we love it there. Total freedom, lots of beach bars and restaurants and lots of people to watch. The water is warm and clear and the people on the beach are very nice. We highly recommend this island and Orient Beach. :pirate3
