I read the link and what and terrible and preventable accident. On a cruise ship one of my children was trapped by a suction on a hot tub. Thank God her head was above water, and we were there to help free her. We notified ship personel about the problem, but nothing was done at all, to correct it.

How awful .. this is one of the reasons that Hot Tubs are ususally for Adults only. Children should NEVER be in a hot tub. It's not healthy for thier hearts, and the suction poses a danger to their smaller bodies.

I don' t understand how cruise lines and hotels allow children to use these facilities. AT ALL.
