To all those wondering about EDR in General...This resort was absolutely amazing! The service was an absolute 10+, and the food was wonderful. You must remember to make reservations though! There is one restruant in the evening where reservations are not necessary, but the others you do. I highly recommend the Japanese restraunt beside the Casitas-"Kampai" food was amazing along with the ambiance. My husband and I stayed in the Casita suite as we got married on Feb.11 We decided that we wanted to have a small/quaint ceremony, with just our parents. The day we got married was the day that they hold a Mexican Fiesta...(every Wednesday) and what a celebration that is! I have to commend Carlota & Marcella for organizing such a wonderful wedding for us...they created our ultimate fantasy ceremony on the beach (in front of the casitas). My boquet was stunning, and the cake was delicious. If you plan to get married there, I would strongly recommend you pay extra, and get the photos and the video!!! The photographer , and the vidoegrapher did such an amazing job!!!!I feel that the money spent on our wedding/honeymoon was extremely well worth every dollar, and would definately go back there in a heart beat!! As a matter of fact... we are planning to go back in May 04. If anyone plans to go there for a Wedding/honeymoon, or just a vacation please say hello to Eduardo, Paco, Estaban, Carlota, Marcella, Fernando, & Alfredo...These people were amazing and would go the extra mile to assure your vacation was perfect! Please feel free to email me if you have any questions....or would like some extra photos!!!!
